We understand that in certain cases surgeries need happen quickly and efficiently. That’s why in October 2003, our medical group opened Southern OB/GYN Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). Serving as a single-specialty outpatient surgery center right on campus, we provide surgical and procedural services outside the hospital setting.

Our commitment to providing the highest-quality care has led to certification by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). This voluntary program sets the standard for patient safety and quality care by closely scrutinizing policies and practices for health care facilities nationwide.

Patients find our facility warm and inviting – as well as convenient. We have ample parking right next to the building and a waiting area for your support person. Patients perform most pre-surgical tests and complete their paperwork at our facility; radiology procedures are performed at South Georgia Imaging Center in Valdosta and EKG’s are performed at South Georgia Medical Associates.
